Maintaining Mobility
through sustainable exercise

for middle-aged adults and seniors
The Maintaining Mobility studio is located in San Francisco on Third Street, which overlooks the San Francisco Bay. The floor is covered with permanent firm mats, ensuring safety and obviating the need for students to bring their own mats to class.

Penny also teaches courses through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the College of Extended Learning of San francisco State University.

Directions & Maps

From the South Bay
Take 280 NORTH towards PORT OF SF. Take the ARMY ST/CESAR CHAVEZ exit. Turn RIGHT on ARMY ST/CESAR CHAVEZ (0.3 mi). Turn LEFT on 3RD ST (0.5 mi).
 
 

From the East Bay (Bay Bridge)
Follow signs for 101 SOUTH (San Jose). Take the CESAR CHAVEZ ST exit. Take CESAR CHAVEZ EAST (towards Kansas St). Turn LEFT on 3RD ST (0.5 mi).

From Downtown (280 South)
Take the MARIPOSA ST/18th STREET exit. Turn LEFT on 18th ST - go 0.2 mi. Turn RIGHT on 3rd ST. go 0.4 mi.

 


 
Public Transportation

Muni:
#15 (Third St.) to 21st St. and Third St., go 1 block south on Third St.
#22 (Fillmore) to 20th St. & Third St., go 1 1/2 blocks south on Third St.
#48 (Quintara-24th St.) to 22nd St. & Third St., turn right

BART:
From Montgomery St. station, take #15 Muni. From 16th Street Station, take #22 Muni. From 24th Street Station, take #48 Muni.

Caltrain:
From 22nd Street Station, go 5 blocks to Third St (or take #48 Muni), turn right.
